A new energy of live music is set to arrive on the South Coast, with Dulcie’s Cottage proudly stepping into its next chapter as a home for unique and consistent entertainment. For more than a decade, Dulcie’s has been an institution in the region – a hospitality destination known for slinging cold drinks, delicious burgers, and creating countless good times for locals and visitors alike.
Now, Dulcie’s is extending that legacy beyond food and drink, committing to a regular program of live music that will showcase both local talent and touring acts from across the country and beyond. In collaboration with Nite-Rite Entertainment, October marks the debut of this new lineup, headlined by an exciting roster of artists that will bring fresh sounds and vibrant energy to the cottage.
This new chapter promises more than just entertainment – it’s about strengthening Dulcie’s place as a cultural hub on the South Coast. With free entry and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, everyone is invited to experience the music, the history, and the unmistakable charm of Dulcie’s as it evolves into a true destination for live performance.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing a new wave of artists to Merimbula,” the Dulcie’s team said. “For us, this is more than music – it’s a musical makeover for the region. Our promise to the people is to keep the energy alive, the music flowing, and to make Dulcie’s a stage where everyone feels welcome.”
SHE’S COMING HOME!
After an unforgettable ride on Australian Idol, our very own Kesha is returning for a special THANK YOU SHOW
Get ready to celebrate, sing along, and welcome her back in style at Dulcie’s Cottage, Merimbula — this is more than a performance, it’s a homecoming.
“It’s been unbelievable… I can’t thank everyone enough for the support, messages, posts and especially the votes. I’m so excited to come back to Dulcie’s on the South Coast and perform for you all,” says Kesha.
Kesha is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Jindabyne in the NSW Snowy Mountains, known for her soulful voice and emotional stage presence. She began singing at age eight, winning her local “Jindy Idol” and later building a loyal following busking in her hometown.
A former competitive skier from a musical family, Kesha reached the Australian Idol Grand Final 2026 with standout performances including Take Me To Church, Lay Me Down, When We Were Young and The Climb, which she performed with her father.
Inspired by life in regional Australia, as well as time spent in New Zealand and the UK, her original music blends pop and country influences with heartfelt storytelling. Down-to-earth and deeply connected to her audience, Kesha is an emerging artist to watch.
