A new energy of live music is set to arrive on the South Coast, with Dulcie’s Cottage proudly stepping into its next chapter as a home for unique and consistent entertainment. For more than a decade, Dulcie’s has been an institution in the region – a hospitality destination known for slinging cold drinks, delicious burgers, and creating countless good times for locals and visitors alike.
Now, Dulcie’s is extending that legacy beyond food and drink, committing to a regular program of live music that will showcase both local talent and touring acts from across the country and beyond. In collaboration with Nite-Rite Entertainment, October marks the debut of this new lineup, headlined by an exciting roster of artists that will bring fresh sounds and vibrant energy to the cottage.
This new chapter promises more than just entertainment – it’s about strengthening Dulcie’s place as a cultural hub on the South Coast. With free entry and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, everyone is invited to experience the music, the history, and the unmistakable charm of Dulcie’s as it evolves into a true destination for live performance.

SATURDAY 1ST NOVEMBER - CHAPERONE
Chaperone is a Sydney-based funk-rock band that blends '70s-style funk with high-energy alt-rock. Known for their powerful live shows, the septet features a prominent brass section and delivers a high-octane, genre-fusing performance. They have been gaining traction on Australia's live music circuit with their dynamic sound and energetic stage presence.

SUNDAY 2ND NOVEMBER - RODDY REASON
Roddy Reason is a musician based on the South Coast of NSW, known for his live looping technology and energetic performances in a variety of genres including rock, pop, and folk. He is a singer and songwriter who often performs solo, but also performs with a band called The Zen Band. Another prominent musician is Roddy Radiation, who was the lead singer for The Specials.

SUNDAY 9TH NOVEMBER - JADEN SPENCE
Jaden Spence has been south coast bound for a number of years now, growing up in a small town of Culburra Beach NSW, he can’t help but draw inspiration from the magical environment and landscape that surrounds, along with the cruisy lifestyle that pairs hand in hand. He draws on inspirations from a wide range of artists such as, Nick Drake, Alexi Murdoch, Iron and Wine and Jose Gonzalez, aswell as integrating hints of west and East African styles.

SATURDAY 22ND NOVEMBER - MIKELANGELO & THE LONG LOST FRIENDS
Mikelangelo and the Long Lost Friends are based in Braidwood, a town teeming with artists, poets, musicians and myriad creative folks. It’s a group put together by acclaimed crooner/songwriter Mikelangelo, featuring Jake Annetts on bass, Steve Maher on keyboard and guitar, Bruce Rose on guitar and Ben Willson on drums.
Together they have worked up a set of new material alongside a bunch of Mikelangelo classics, playing an eclectic mix of roots rock, driving pop and turbo charged Euro folk, all delivered with Mikelangelo’s charm, energy, theatrics and off-the-cuff banter. Mikelangelo is one of Australian music’s true mavericks.
He has toured the world as a solo artist and with his long-term group Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen, playing headline shows from the Sydney Opera House to London’s West End.

SATURDAY 8TH NOVEMBER - SATIN CALI + SLIM JIMZ
Satin Cali is an Australian beach grunge rock band from Wollongong, consisting of Zac Goluch, Isaac Flaherty, Elijah Fresco, and Daniel Devlin. They are known for their fusion of raw energy and coastal vibes, with a lineup also including Jordon Costello on rhythm guitar. The band has gained significant recognition through extensive touring in Australia and supporting international acts, with their latest releases and EP, "Wayside," showcasing their evolving sound.
Supporting them are Slim Jimz, an indie rock band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2019 and known for their surf-rock-infused sound and energetic live shows.

SUNDAY 16TH NOVEMBER - MR REES
Focusing across the Far South and Southern Tablelands regions, Sam is a lifelong musician who grew up in Coolagolite and has been active in the local music scene for years. In this time, he has provided leadership and mentorship for local musicians and built relationships with venue owners and industry professionals.
Sam will be delivering 2 sets of homeland country folk

SATURDAY 25TH OCTOBER - EUAN HART
Euan Hart is a Sydney-based alt-folk/pop-rock artist known for his self-produced music, blending rich storytelling with electronic and indie rock influences. Inspired by artists like Wilco and Father John Misty, his performances range from intimate acoustic sets to full-band shows. Hart has built an international presence through a European tour, playing at festivals like Electric Picnic, and has sold out headline shows in both Sydney and Dublin

SATURDAY 15TH NOVEMBER - 8 BALL AITKEN
8 Ball Aitken has toured the world for more than a decade performing his swamp-soul and blues-rock across twenty countries to date. He’s earned a loyal fanbase from his live shows and internet videos, while paying his dues as a singer, songwriter, slide-guitarist, and producer.
8 Ball Aitken is back in 2025 with a new collaborative album project ‘Nightbird’. Sydney soul singer Taya Chani and 8 Ball co-wrote and co-produced the 12-track album together over several years living in different countries and states of Australia during the process of making the album.
